About NAWLEE

The National Association of Women Law Enforcement Executives (NAWLEE) was created to promote women in law enforcement. NAWLEE membership is open to women and men, both sworn and civilian that support the advancement of women in all ranks and roles in the law enforcement profession.

The opportunities for women in law enforcement are changing daily. NAWLEE provides training, mentoring, programs, and resources to help women and their agencies, pursue and provide these opportunities.

With women holding only 13% of all law enforcement positions, we all need to work together to recruit and retain women in our profession.

NAWLEE wants to inspire women to enter the field of law enforcement, empower them to recognize and develop their own leadership potential, and achieve their own unique career goals. At the same time, NAWLEE can help departments with their recruiting and training efforts to provide an inclusive environment for women in law enforcement.  Join Today!
